Dear Valued Customer,
United Food Truck is providing the below update in response to the impact of the Coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) on our business and operations, and how we may be able to positively affect your future business.
First, we would like to say that everything is going to be ok, and we will get through this together. We are here for you and your business needs. Let’s use this down time for the very important planning phase of your business. We are still available to help you with your design, estimate, and even manufacturing for your mobile food unit.however, we are still getting them done.
Wouldn’t you like your business to be ready to run when the limitations on public gatherings have passed? You could also be using your mobile food unit for pick up or to go orders RIGHT NOW. You could accept orders via text and as long as you have a person who can deliver to people’s cars to avoid the 10-person limit or meet other State requirements, You could still be working within the law as an Essential Business. As you know, the food industry is considered an Essential Business.
It is also important to mention that interest rates are currently very low, and there are several options for funding your mobile business.
I would like to emphasize that United Food Trucks first priority continues to be the health and welfare of our employees, customers, suppliers and other partners which we have been working to address. We are following the CDC’s guidelines on social distancing, hand washing, and sanitizing our workplace. Our office staff is working remotely, and only essential team members are working in our fabrication. We are pleased to report that at this time, we do not have any confirmed cases in our business. As the spread of COVID-19 continues to heighten, governments, companies and individuals have started implementing measures to limit the spread of COVID-19, including the limitation of social gatherings, travel restrictions and the cancellation of various sporting, entertainment, promotional, and cultural events, among others, which are having a significant impact on global economic activity. However, we all know that these restrictions are not permanent.
Finally, it is important to reiterate that you can count on our team to continue to offer you dedicated support during this time of uncertainty and in the future. Also, this temporary change in our number of staff, and some of us working remotely, will not affect our ability to build your Food Truck or Concession Trailer.
Given the unprecedented nature of the COVID-19 situation which is changing rapidly, United Food Truck will continue to monitor and adjust its plans for our business as the situation evolves. We will continue to update our customers as needed.
